About The Position

Scheels is seeking a Part-Time Merchandiser to join their team. This role is crucial in maintaining the visual appeal and stock levels of the sales floor. The position requires availability for 15-20 hours per week, including an every-other-weekend rotation, and may involve varied hours, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Requirements

Minimum of a high school diploma or general education degree (GED), 1-3 months of related experience or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Must be able to sit, stand, bend at the waist, climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, walk, push/pull, lift, talk, and hear with or without reasonable accommodation.
Must be available to work 15- 20 hours/week, and an every other weekend rotation.
Must be available a minimum of two weekends a month.

Responsibilities

Unload product from freight. Tag, fold, hang, and price merchandise to be put out on the sales floor or in back stock
Restock merchandise on the sales floor and bring products to the floor for display
Assist customers and sales associates with retrieving and loading purchased products
Follow the Line Leader checklist, walk-through notes, and merch guides to prioritize the needs of the shops
Coordinate with Specialty Shop Managers and display teams on shop moves and mannequin placement
Maintain an orderly appearance with general cleaning and organization around the store and back stock areas
Ability to be organized, multitask, have problem-solving skills, and maintain all aspects of a merchandiser role
Ability to work independently and with the team
Exercise judgment and tact, and be able to effectively work with all levels within the organization
Demonstrates attention to detail
Willing to do other tasks as assigned by the leadership team and Merchandising Lead
Work assigned schedule; may include varied hours, evenings, weekends, and holidays
