About The Position
Bimbo Bakeries USA is seeking a Merchandiser to service local accounts/grocery stores in the Battle Creek, MI and Sturgis, MI area. This part-time position is responsible for merchandising fresh bakery products to ensure adequate product availability on the shelf and on displays. The role involves keeping bread aisles and display locations stocked, maintaining clean and organized back-room inventory, and rotating products according to color code. Requirements
- 18 years of age or older.
- Valid driver's license.
- Reliable transportation.
- Ability to lift, push/pull up to 50 lbs.
- In some locations, Merchandisers are required to drive a DOT regulated route truck. In those instances, candidates must meet DOT requirements including Medical Card, Road Test, and must be 21 years or older.
Responsibilities
- Service local accounts/grocery stores to ensure adequate product availability on the shelf and on displays.
- Keep bread aisle and display locations stocked appropriately in stores.
- Maintain clean and organized back-room product inventory.
- Rotate products according to color code.
