About The Position

Great Lakes Wine & Spirits is seeking a Part-Time Merchandiser to join their Total Wine & More Team. This role involves servicing multiple accounts, ensuring timely stocking and proper product handling of all GLWAS merchandise. The Merchandiser will work with store personnel to optimize shelf placement and in-store displays, assess display effectiveness, and address out-of-stock situations. Professional demeanor, vehicle organization, and territory management are key aspects of this position. The role requires daily travel in various weather conditions and involves active physical work, including lifting, stacking, and moving items up to 50 pounds.

Requirements

Minimum age of 18 years
High School Diploma/GED
Basic competency with basic iOS devices
Adhere to the policies and procedures outlined in the employee policy manual and any applicable contracts, signed agreements, and work rules.
Cooperates with all management and staff of GLWAS.
Follows all MLCC rules and regulations, as they apply to the position.
Use alcohol in a responsible manner when related to business activities.
Ability to pass pre-employment screenings including a full Background Check, 10-Panel Drug Test, Physical Evaluation, and Agility Test
Maintain a safe driving record.

Responsibilities

Timely stocking and product handling of all GLWAS merchandise shipped to assigned retail accounts stores.
Working with store level personnel to ensure effective placement of shelf products and in-store displays.
Assessing the effectiveness of different product displays and display locations.
Building displays.
Managing GLWAS product conditions within the store.
Working with GLWAS District Managers and Area Managers to address product out of stocks.
Correctly running workday according to plan.
Maintaining and using reports, forms, and pre-plans.
Communicating on a daily basis with Manager.
