About The Position

Franz Family Bakery, founded in 1906, is a successful bakery producing a variety of baked products. We employ over 4,000 people and distribute products across several states. We are seeking a Part-time Sales Merchandiser to join our team in Murray, UT. This role ensures Franz customers have the best products on their shelves. The ideal candidate is reliable, safe, organized, and can communicate effectively.

Requirements

Part-time position requiring availability between 5 a.m. and 7 p.m. weekdays & weekends.
1+ years of experience in a similar merchandising position.
Ability to bend, stoop, squat, kneel, reach, and perform frequent to constant handling activities.
Ability to successfully pass a pre-employment background check, drug screen, math test, physical, and physical capacity test.
Must possess a clean driving record and provide a current driving abstract from the department of licensing if called for an interview.
Ability to lift up to 40 pounds regularly and maneuver large bulky racks of product.
Must be highly organized, fast-paced, and able to effectively communicate with a variety of individuals both inside and outside the organization.
Must have a proven work history of being reliable, safe, and positive.
Must uphold the Franz core values.

Nice To Haves

Experience in bread/bakery/food industry is a plus.

Responsibilities

Maintaining bakery products in assigned stores, including stocking shelves and rotating outdated products.
Facing products to present bakery items attractively.
Maintaining a neat and orderly appearance of all assigned bakery products.
Driving own vehicle to deliver product to customer locations.
Loading and unloading product in a company-issued vehicle, including pushing/pulling racks and trays of bakery products.
Performing additional duties and/or responsibilities as assigned.
