About The Position

The Merchandiser works in retail stores across an assigned territory, traveling between locations to merchandise products according to store and corporate standards. The role includes safely replenishing products and may involve assembling shelves, racks, and display cases according to measurement guidelines. Stores are serviced on designated weekdays and within the hours assigned by the Supervisor of Merchandising. The position is part-time and non-exempt, with travel time between accounts paid. Travel may take up to 100% of the time. Compensation is $15, with a retention and/or referral bonus available after three months subject to program eligibility.

The Merchandiser records work hours and other company-related information using designated applications, communicates regularly with the supervisor, and builds relationships with store personnel. Work requested by store personnel that is outside the listed duties must be discussed with the supervisor before it is performed. Employment is contingent on a background check, a four-panel drug test that does not include THC, and MVR clearance.

Requirements

• Reliable transportation for travel between stores.
• A personal cell phone and mobile device, such as a tablet.
• Ability to use Movista and/or other company-required applications.
• Proficiency with Word, the internet, and email applications.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to multitask and be detail-oriented.
• Ability to conduct oneself professionally.
• Adherence to the company's attendance policy.
• Employment is contingent on a background check, a four-panel drug test that does not include THC, and MVR clearance.
• Ability to meet the stated physical requirements, including frequent bending, squatting, standing, walking, kneeling, pushing/pulling, handling objects, fine finger movements, and carrying light and moderate loads; occasional sitting, reaching above shoulder level, and carrying heavy loads.

Responsibilities

• Merchandise products in retail environments according to appropriate store and/or corporate standards.
• Safely and efficiently replenish products.
• Assemble shelves, racks, and display cases when needed, following measurement guidelines.
• Service assigned stores according to the established schedule and allotted hours.
• Obtain prior supervisor approval before working outside scheduled hours; contact the supervisor before working more than 10 hours in a workday or working overtime.
• Accurately record work hours and other company-related information using designated applications.
• Discuss duties requested by store personnel that are not listed in the job description with the supervisor before performing them.
• Handle all products correctly, including returns, and follow planograms (POGs), flowcharts, and related instructions.
• Communicate regularly with the supervisor and develop relationships with store personnel.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
