This role involves displaying beverage merchandise on shelves, showcases, and on the sales floor of retail stores. The Merchandiser arranges products according to a prearranged plan or their own ideas approved by management, places price and descriptive signs, and transfers product from customer stock rooms to floor displays to comply with "Sell By" dates, maximize product in store and minimize product in stock room. They also order product for assigned accounts to ensure no out-of-stocks conditions, originate display ideas or follow suggestions, and communicate effectively daily with key store personnel on service or product needs. Additionally, they construct or assemble display aids from company provided Point of Sale (POS) materials. Other duties may be assigned by the immediate supervisor or other supervisor at any time.
