About The Position

As a Merchandiser at Breakthru Beverage, you will showcase the company’s brands by building displays, managing inventory, and improving product placement. The role involves daily merchandising in new and existing accounts across the Sandston, Virginia territory. The schedule is Monday through Friday, with occasional weekends possible. Compensation is $18.75 per hour, plus a $2,400 annual car allowance and a $300 monthly gas card. A $500 sign-on bonus is offered. The position is eligible for health care benefits, life insurance, time-off benefits, and participation in the Company’s 401(k) plan, with full benefits available within 30 days of hire.

Requirements

Must be at least 21 years old to apply.
Possess and maintain a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Strong customer service, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Demonstrate professionalism and sound judgment.
Able to work occasional weekends.
Able to lift and carry 45–65 pounds.

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

Stock and rotate shelves.
Build displays and manage point-of-sale materials.
Perform store resets for remodels, grand openings, or seasonal changes.
Build rapport with key account contacts and obtain feedback on merchandising activities; share feedback with appropriate sales team members.
Identify brand and category opportunities.
Identify opportunities to expand shelf and cold-box facings.
Communicate out-of-stock situations and new-item opportunities.
Develop knowledge of beer, wine, and/or spirits brands and products for customers.
Responsibly handle beverage alcohol products and interact safely and responsibly with the public.
Perform other duties as assigned by the jobholder’s supervisor.
