About The Position

This part-time position is located in Dillon, MT. The schedule includes Saturdays, Sundays, and Wednesdays, with flexible shift times, totaling 10-15 hours per week. The primary responsibility is product merchandising within large volume stores. Duties involve stocking shelves, rotating product, setting up displays, cooler stocking and rotation, organizing storage rooms, and efficiently moving product from storage to the sales floor.

Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent.
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with staff, vendors, other governmental agencies, and the public as required.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to work on own initiative.
Ability to handle a wide range of tasks.
Understand and effectively communicate Summit Beverage's organizational mission and goals.
Must be able to read pricing tags, product labels, read and interpret documentation.
Must be able to see while driving at all times of the day.
Must be able to hear well enough to communicate with fellow employees and account contacts.
Must be able to hear horn/alarms while in account backstock areas.
Ability to lift/carry/move 35lbs. continually, on occasion up to 165lbs, if handling kegs and push/pull loaded flat carts with up to 160lb resistance.
Ability to stand, walk for long periods of time (including bending, reaching, lifting, pulling, etc.).

Previous grocery, retail, or beverage experience a plus.

Responsibilities

Pull outdated, damaged, and unsellable products and place them in back stock with a note to the Summit Salesperson.
Stock, rotate, and face product in coolers, on shelves, on racks, and in displays.
Work all back stock and organize as required by Supervisor and Sales Representative.
Refill, rotate, and keep sales promotion displays presentable according to store and Company standards.
Receive daily work requests at the start of each workday.
Review instructions as provided by Supervisor, Sales Manager(s), or Sales Representative(s).
Serve all accounts as scheduled by Supervisor.
Assist in resolving customer inquiries and service complaints.
Notify supervisor of any problems or opportunities with assigned accounts.
Perform a final walkthrough of the account for cleanup and trash removal.
Adhere to Company policies and procedures.
Adhere to all applicable Federal, state, and local regulations regarding the merchandising of alcoholic beverages.
Maintain a valid Montana driver’s license and good driving records.
Properly maintain company property, including but not limited to company vehicles.
Maintain appropriate dress and appearance per Company standards.
Ability to lift/carry/move 35lbs. continually, on occasion up to 165lbs, if handling kegs and push/pull loaded flat carts with up to 160lb resistance.
