About The Position

Glazer’s Beer & Beverage is seeking a Merchandiser to join their Team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing merchandising activities, such as product rotation, stocking of product, display presentation, display execution, installation of point-of-sale displays, and constructing displays requested by the sales team or retail customers. You may also be required to expedite product delivery as requested by the Glazer’s Beer and Beverage management team. Employees are expected to work onsite, which includes non-company locations where we conduct business, the majority of the time to support collaboration, productivity, and business operations according to the schedule set by supervisors and/or branch management.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 2 years of experience
  • Ability to secure and maintain a valid driver’s license and auto-liability insurance in accordance with state laws
  • Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull materials and objects weighing up to 50 pounds and heavier weights with the proper equipment
  • The ability to stand or walk an entire shift (8-10-12 hours)

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with beverage product sales or in hospitality industry
  • Presentation skills necessary to effectively communicate, update, persuade, and/or facilitate discussions with all levels of management
  • Interpersonal skills necessary to establish and maintain effective working relationships with coworkers, other business areas and government agencies as required
  • Demonstrated high level proficiency of oral and written communication skills
  • Planning and organizational skills necessary to coordinate workload around multiple assignments

Responsibilities

  • Assist sales team with maintaining positive relationships with retail customers
  • Perform merchandising and stocking activities within an assigned territory
  • Ensure all company products are properly displayed
  • Complete stock rotations, shelf resets and backroom duties as needed
  • Install point-of-sale materials as directed
  • Expedite delivery of product
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned
