About The Position

Knoxville Beverage Company is the largest wine and spirits distributor in the region and continues to grow. Our vision for the future is to continue to seek premium brands while recognizing a need for value in the marketplace. We are seeking a Merchandiser to join our team (Monday-Friday, day shift) at a pay rate of $18.00 per hour, plus bonuses. Merchandisers perform a variety of functions related to merchandising wine and spirits in customer accounts.

Requirements

Must be at least 21 years of age
Ability to lift and stack cases averaging 40 lbs. each
Ability to climb ladders and use basic hand tools for assembling or mounting
Ability to obtain State of Tennessee ABC Wholesalers Employee permit
Valid Driver's License with ability to meet company driving history requirements
Drug and background checks required

Nice To Haves

Grocery or wine/spirits store experience preferred

Responsibilities

Building, installing, and maintaining in-store displays and racks for the chain and independent retail division
Installing vinyl graphics on windows and storefronts
Hanging or mounting items on walls or from ceilings
Communicating with graphic designers to request printed material
Communicating with chain and independent retail divisions about customer accounts
Maintaining a strong customer service relationship with our customers
Driving to customer accounts using a company vehicle
Using a phone and basic hand tools to complete assigned tasks
