Merchandiser (Total Wine)
About The Position
The Merchandiser I performs merchandising activities in retail accounts, including constructing displays and stocking Southern Glazer’s Wine and Spirits products as requested by sales teams or retail customers. The role installs promotional point-of-sale materials to achieve display objectives and stocks products as needed. The Merchandiser builds displays, updates pricing and special offers within an assigned territory, maintains positive relationships with retail customers, ensures company products are properly displayed, installs point-of-sale materials as directed, and stocks shelves, displays, and cold boxes. Other job-related duties may be assigned.
Requirements
- One year of experience.
- Must possess a reliable vehicle, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to obtain and maintain auto liability insurance as required by state laws.
- Must be apprised of federal, state, and local laws affecting the beverage/alcohol industry within the account responsibility.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
Responsibilities
- Build displays and update pricing and special offers within an assigned territory.
- Maintain positive relationships with retail customers.
- Ensure all company products are properly displayed.
- Install point-of-sale materials as directed.
- Stock products on shelves, displays, and cold boxes as necessary.
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
