About The Position

Johnson Brothers is a leading family-owned distributor of wine, spirits, and beer, established in 1953. They are expanding and seeking passionate individuals to join their dynamic team. The Merchandiser role supports the Chain Retail Division by assisting with deliveries, rotating back stock, stocking shelves, displaying products, and building displays. The Merchandiser will receive their daily route via email from the Warehouse Manager and/or Merchandising Manager after orders have been fulfilled.

Requirements

• High School degree or equivalent required
• Must be able to work assigned work schedule which may include weekends
• Satisfactory driving record and active driver’s license for the state you reside in
• Must be able to safely lift 40-60 lbs. repeatedly
• Must pass criminal background and MVR
• Must be able to communicate effectively

Nice To Haves

• Additional education preferred
• Previous sales, merchandising or pull-up experience preferred
• Knowledgeable of wine and beer beverage industry a plus

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service to accounts
• Stocking, merchandising, and rotating products on displays and the shelf
• Run routes and support major deliveries by assisting the delivery driver with unloading product, checking in and stocking order
• Build wine and beer displays
• Assist in completing store resets in established territory
• Maintain up-to-date awareness of company activities, industry trends and government regulations
