About The Position

Crescent Crown Distributing (CCD) is seeking best-in-class Merchandisers to join their Service Execution Team (SET). In this role, you will be responsible for creating appealing product displays and store layouts, establishing rapport with customers, and delivering exceptional service. You will work closely with customers to ensure shelves are stocked, moving products from the backroom, and stocking products on shelves and in coolers. This role involves maintaining an efficient merchandising schedule, driving to multiple customer stores, and ensuring products are properly rotated on shelves. The position offers shorter commutes and less drive time, allowing for more personal time.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age (21 years of age preferred)
Valid Louisiana driver’s license and acceptable driving record
Provide his/her own reliable personal vehicle for business use
Successful completion of a drug test, MVR check, and general background check
Excellent customer relations skills
Excellent attention to detail and ability to work under direction
Report to work on a regular and timely basis, and ensure that work responsibilities are covered when absent
Availability to work some weekends or holidays
Have a personal email account and access to the internet
Observe safety and security procedures
Use equipment and materials properly
Able to continuously lift/carry at least 50 lbs.
Able to push/pull heavy loads at least 240 lbs.
Able to maneuver a dolly effectively

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Minimum of one (1) year of merchandising experience in DSD industry is preferred
Consumer product industry sales experience is preferred

Responsibilities

Neatly merchandising displays and shelves
Properly rotating products on the shelves
Working with customers to make sure shelves are stocked
Moving products from the backroom
Stocking products on shelves and coolers
Maintaining an efficient and accurate merchandising service schedule
Driving to multiple customer stores throughout the shift
Bending and moving and climbing in high, low, and tight areas to merchandise shelves and coolers and stock displays
Reporting to work on a regular and timely basis
Ensuring that work responsibilities are covered when absent
Observing safety and security procedures
Using equipment and materials properly
