About The Position

This position involves calling on assigned accounts to communicate sales promotions and merchandising information to customers. The role requires setting up plan-o-grams, including stocking, fronting, facing, and rotating products. It also involves rearranging shelving, moving products, cleaning shelves, and re-stocking. The merchandiser will ensure product displays are professional and appealing with proper signage and favorable shelf placement, reset displays, and report any issues. Negotiation for additional shelf and promotional space is also a key responsibility. The role includes conducting store surveys and market analyses to understand customer responses and assess display conditions to maximize sales.

Requirements

• Recommended minimum 3 years of related merchandising experience in the field.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Attention to detail and conscientious.
• Computer experience in Microsoft Office is required.
• Must be able to work weekends, and varying shifts (days, evenings, nights).
• Minimum age: 18
• Must be able to pass a drug screen and physical.
• Must have a valid Driver’s license and proof of insurance.

Responsibilities

• Calls on assigned accounts to communicate sales promotions and merchandising information to customers.
• Set up plan-o-gram execution including stocking, fronting, facing, and rotating the product.
• Rearranging shelving, moving product off shelves, pulling shelving out of refrigerated doors, cleaning shelves, and re-stock products back onto shelves.
• Ensure that product displays look professional and appealing, with proper signage and favorable shelf placement.
• Reset displays and report any problems/opportunities with products and/or displays.
• Negotiate for additional shelf space and promotional space.
• Conducts store surveys and market analyses to better understand and test customer responses to given products and markets.
• Conduct store survey and market analysis to capture the condition of display at the time of arrival for the purpose of recognizing areas to maximize sales.
