The Merchandiser displays beverage merchandise on shelves, showcases, and on the sales floor of retail stores. This role involves arranging products according to a prearranged plan or own ideas approved by management, placing price and descriptive signs, and transferring product from customer stock rooms to floor displays to ensure proper stock rotation and maximize product availability. The Merchandiser is also responsible for ordering product for assigned accounts to prevent out-of-stocks, developing display ideas, and communicating effectively with key store personnel regarding service or product needs. Additionally, the role involves constructing or assembling display aids from company-provided Point of Sale (POS) materials. The employee is occasionally exposed to outside weather conditions, and the noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.

Requirements

Displays beverage merchandise on shelves, showcases, and on sales floor of retail store by performing the following duties.
Arranges products according to prearranged plan or own ideas approved by management.
Places price and descriptive signs on backdrop, fixtures, merchandise, or floor.
Transfers product from customer stock room to floor displays to comply with "Sell By" dates, maximize product in store and minimize product in stock room.
Orders product for assigned accounts in accordance with established procedures to ensure no out-of-stocks conditions.
Originates display ideas or follows suggestions or schedule of Merchandiser Manager and Sales Manager.
Communicate effectively daily with key store personnel on any service or product needs.
Constructs or assembles display aids from company provided Point of Sale (POS) materials.
