About The Position

Admiral Beverage is seeking a Merchandiser to display beverage merchandise on shelves, showcases, and on the sales floor of retail stores. This role involves arranging products according to a plan, placing price and descriptive signs, transferring product from stock rooms to displays to manage inventory and "Sell By" dates, and ordering product to prevent out-of-stocks. The Merchandiser will also develop display ideas, communicate with store personnel, and construct display aids using Point of Sale materials. Other duties may be assigned by supervisors.

Requirements

Ability to arrange products according to a plan or own ideas.
Ability to transfer product from stock room to floor displays.
Ability to order product for assigned accounts.
Ability to originate display ideas or follow suggestions.
Effective communication skills for daily interaction with store personnel.
Ability to construct or assemble display aids from POS materials.

Responsibilities

Displays beverage merchandise on shelves, showcases, and on sales floor of retail store.
Arranges products according to prearranged plan or own ideas approved by management.
Places price and descriptive signs on backdrop, fixtures, merchandise, or floor.
Transfers product from customer stock room to floor displays to comply with "Sell By" dates, maximize product in store and minimize product in stock room.
Orders product for assigned accounts in accordance with established procedures to ensure no out-of-stocks conditions.
Originates display ideas or follows suggestions or schedule of Merchandiser Manager and Sales Manager.
Communicates effectively daily with key store personnel on any service or product needs.
Constructs or assembles display aids from company provided Point of Sale (POS) materials.
Other duties may be assigned by the immediate supervisor or other supervisor at any time.
