About The Position

Field Force Merchandising is seeking part-time retail service merchandisers for an ongoing grocery-store program. This permanent, part-time independent contractor position requires one service visit per week, completed on the date specified by the client. Visits are estimated to take 30–60 minutes in store; the posting also lists an in-store time of 20–40 minutes. Merchandisers change point-of-sale (POS) materials on freestanding refrigeration and/or freezer units, and during promotional visits change POS materials and product. They also stock the units and verify that they are functioning properly. Completed work must be photographed and uploaded to the service-call report, and work must be reported on the same day as service and completed by the cycle end date.

Requirements

• Have a phone capable of taking photos of completed work and uploading them to a service-call report.
• Be able to commit to servicing the stores once a week on a specific date.

Responsibilities

• Complete one service visit per week on the date specified by the client.
• Change POS materials on freestanding refrigeration and/or freezer units.
• During promotional visits, change POS materials and product.
• Stock the units with product.
• Verify that the units are functioning properly.
• Photograph completed work and upload the photos to the service-call report.
• Complete service visits by the cycle end date and report the work on the same day as service.
