About The Position

Franz Family Bakery, founded in 1906, is a successful bakery employing over 4,000 people and distributing products across several western states. They are seeking a Part Time Sales Merchandiser to join their team in Boise. This role is crucial for ensuring Franz products are well-represented on store shelves. The ideal candidate will be reliable, safe, organized, and possess strong communication skills.

Requirements

Part-time position requiring availability between 5 a.m. and 7 p.m. on weekdays and weekends.
1+ years of experience in a similar merchandising position.
Ability to bend, stoop, squat, kneel, reach, and perform frequent to constant handling activities.
Ability to successfully pass a pre-employment background check, drug screen, math test, physical, and physical capacity test.
Possession of a clean driving record and provision of a current driving abstract if called for an interview.
Ability to lift up to 40 pounds regularly and maneuver large, bulky racks of product.
Highly organized, fast-paced, and able to effectively communicate with a variety of individuals.
Proven work history of being reliable, safe, and positive.

Experience in the bread/bakery/food industry is a plus.

Responsibilities

Maintaining bakery products in assigned stores, including stocking shelves, rotating outdated products, and facing products.
Ensuring a neat and orderly appearance of all assigned bakery products.
Driving a company vehicle to deliver product to customer locations.
Loading and unloading product in a company-issued vehicle, including pushing/pulling racks and trays of bakery products.
Performing additional duties as assigned.
