About The Position

A Merchandiser is responsible for stocking the store shelves and cold boxes/coolers with fresh products. This role involves maintaining product freshness through stocking and rotation, organizing back stocks, and building displays. The position also requires maintaining a professional rapport with store personnel and customers, adhering to a set route, and ensuring all scheduled calls are made. The job description is intended to describe the general nature and essential functions of the position and may include additional duties as assigned.

Requirements

High level of integrity, commitment, and a strong work ethic.
Physical exertion will be necessary to achieve desired levels of account management.
Ability to lift products from 25 lbs. to 50 lbs. on a regular basis and up to 175 lbs. when handling kegs.
Valid Driver's License and maintain an acceptable driving record.
Maintain auto insurance coverage at least to the minimum amount specified by the Company and state law.
Must be 21 years of age or older at the time of employment in order to sell alcohol in the state of Kansas.

Nice To Haves

Knowledge of the alcoholic beverage industry is helpful.

Responsibilities

Stocking and rotating fresh products, organizing, and refilling back stocks, cold boxes/coolers, shelves, and displays adhering to all quality and rotation policies.
Building displays and executing placement of signage and other merchandising items.
Keeping backroom and inventory areas clean and organized.
Notifying manager of any product breakage in an account.
Maintaining a professional rapport and image with store personnel and customers.
Adhering to current route and making all scheduled calls.
