About The Position

Indiana Beverage is a local, family-owned distributor that’s been proudly serving Northern Indiana since 1939. We’re looking for motivated Merchandisers to support our retail accounts in Lake County. This role involves merchandising and stocking products at local grocery stores, building and replenishing displays, and traveling to various account locations. Requirements

Must be 18 years or older
High school diploma or GED equivalent
Reliable transportation with a valid driver’s license
Proof of auto insurance
Good driving record
Willingness to work Saturdays or Sundays
Ability to pass post-offer screenings, including: Background check, Motor Vehicle Report (MVR), Essential functions screen (if applicable), Drug screening
Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, squatting, and climbing

Nice To Haves

Prior retail or stocking experience is a plus

Responsibilities

Merchandise and stock products at local grocery stores
Build and replenish displays by moving product from the backroom to the sales floor
Lift and move products weighing 50–160 lbs. (with or without a hand truck)
Operate equipment such as pallet jacks and two-wheel hand carts
Travel to various account locations in all weather and traffic conditions
Be available to work weekends and holidays as needed
