About The Position
Merchandiser in the Center Store Non-Perishable Department, responsible for a designated merchandise area, and working during regular store hours. This person's primary duties include: Assume duties related to the Center Store Specialty Foods Vendors (Kehe, Lipari, Meximar) Communicating with the sales representative of each respective vendor to ensure minimal to no out of stocks, proper stock level, managing promotions and special buy-ins, inventory management, and rotation Stocking product upon receipt at store Ordering firms with respective vendor, holiday orders as needed. Ensure freshness in the center store merchandise through the use of the Date Check Pro software Secondary duties assume related activities as required or assigned.
Requirements
- Must be available to be scheduled between 35+ hrs a week, including nights and weekends, based on department needs.
- Ordering and stocking experience preferred; we will train
- Repetitive lifting to 50#; occasional lifting to 80#.
- Customer service orientation; able to work with minimal supervision; organizational ability; reliable; dependable.
