About The Position

Saratoga Eagle Sales & Service, Inc. is hiring a Beverage Merchandiser to service accounts in West Sand Lake, East Greenbush, and Troy, New York. The role involves displaying and organizing merchandise, maintaining shelves and point-of-sale materials, monitoring inventory, and communicating regularly with store staff, drivers, and salespeople. The schedule is four 10-hour shifts on Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday, and Sunday. Weekend work is required. The role travels to client accounts such as convenience stores and grocery stores.

Requirements

• Excellent customer service skills.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Reliable transportation throughout the workday.
• Knowledge of database software and Internet software.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to respond to situations.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Ability to frequently lift or move up to 50 pounds and push or pull up to 250 pounds.
• Ability to perform frequent standing, walking, handling, reaching, climbing or balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching or crawling, and talking or hearing.
• Ability to work frequently in a refrigerated atmosphere and occasionally outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Availability to work weekends.

Responsibilities

• Greet store owners or managers and review specific instructions.
• Display merchandise to meet customer needs and emphasize product selling points, such as quality.
• Place new merchandise on display based on instructions from the salesperson.
• Organize customers’ back rooms.
• Repackage damaged packages and replace them on shelves or in coolers.
• Monitor and update shelf tags.
• Take inventory and report low volumes and out-of-stock situations.
• Assist with resets as needed.
• Maintain current and themed point-of-sale materials to ensure maximum account coverage.
• Follow sales manual standards, including product rotation.
• Check voicemail three to four times daily and communicate regularly with drivers and salespeople.
• Travel to client accounts, including convenience stores and grocery stores.
