Designer Greetings is hiring a part-time merchandiser to service greeting card displays in local stores in Palm Springs, CA and surrounding areas. This flexible side job is ideal for retirees, parents, or anyone seeking a few hours of work per month. The role involves managing greeting card displays, including straightening product, fulfilling orders, writing new orders, setting up and taking down seasonal cards using plan-o-grams, and processing seasonal card returns. Service visits are flexible, and availability after holidays for seasonal change-outs is required.

Requirements

• Reliable smart phone to use mobile phone app for ordering and payroll time entries.
• Ability to lift 40 pounds.
• Access to reliable transportation as most routes have multiple locations.
• Access to reliable internet in order to receive critical job information and updates.
• Valid driver’s license and proof of insurance.
• Availability after the holidays to make the change out to the new season.

Responsibilities

• Straightening product on all card racks.
• Putting out product orders.
• Writing up new orders.
• Putting up and taking down seasonal cards using plan-o-grams.
• Processing seasonal card returns after the holiday.
