About The Position

The Merchandiser stocks and merchandises Frito-Lay products, including brands such as Lay’s and Doritos, keeping store shelves full, neat, and ready for customers. The role is based in Bowling Green, Kentucky, and initially joins a relief pool covering vacations and leaves of absence. The employee must be available any day Sunday through Saturday; days off rotate, schedules may change based on business needs, and set days off are established after bidding on a route. Start times are between 3 a.m. and 5 a.m. and may change based on business needs; the workday ends when the work is completed. The position involves driving a personal vehicle to various stores, with gas mileage reimbursement, and working alongside Route Sales Representatives. Employees receive hands-on and classroom on-the-job training. The work is fast-paced and hands-on, with much of the day spent on the move and lifting, bending, and moving product. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age.
Have a valid driver’s license and proof of insurance.
Be able to frequently lift up to 40 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation.
Be available to work any day of the week, Sunday through Saturday, while initially in the relief pool covering vacations and leaves of absence.

Responsibilities

Drive a personal vehicle to a variety of store locations; gas mileage is reimbursed.
Retrieve Frito-Lay products and merchandise them throughout stores.
Work in a team environment with professional Route Sales Representatives.
Follow a schedule with specific start times and customers, with opportunities to attain different work schedules over time.
Use a company-issued iPhone to view schedules, communicate with team members, and log activity.
