As a Hallmark Merchandiser, you work independently in assigned retail stores to organize, restock, and monitor Hallmark products and displays. You collaborate with store teams to optimize product placement and maintain inventory, build retailer relationships, and represent Hallmark. The role may occasionally involve working with other companies’ products in serviced stores, and supporting fellow merchandisers with seasonal resets and installations. Work includes day-to-day merchandising, seasonal holiday support, and department resets. Holiday periods may bring additional workdays and extended hours, and on some occasions work on the holiday itself, including weekends, may be required. Reset and remodel assignments may involve building or installing fixtures, relocating products or card departments, and resetting sections; these assignments may occur during evenings or weekends. Remodel assignments are typically communicated two weeks in advance. The role is physically demanding and involves working on retail selling floors and in back stockrooms. Merchandisers use a Hallmark-provided mobile device for work tasks and communications. Starting pay is $13.00–$15.00 per hour, depending on skills and experience. Paid training is provided through live, hands-on instruction and virtual classroom training. The position averages 7–20 hours per week on a variable work-week schedule.
