About The Position

This is a part-time, non-exempt, on-site position responsible for servicing product in multiple stores and traveling between them. The role involves working within a retail environment to effectively merchandise products by applying appropriate store and/or corporate standards, safely and efficiently replenishing product, and potentially assembling shelves/racks and display cases. The Merchandiser will service all assigned stores within the allotted hours provided by the Supervisor, Merchandising, and must accurately record work hours and other company-related information using designated applications. Communication with the Supervisor regarding duties and any deviations from the schedule is essential.

Requirements

  • General merchandising experience preferred but not required.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Able to multitask and detail-oriented.
  • Conduct self in a professional manner.
  • Adherence to the company’s attendance policy.
  • Reliable transportation for travel.
  • Able to use Movista and/or other company-required applications.
  • Have personal cell phone and mobile device, such as a tablet.
  • Proficient with Word, the internet, and email applications.
  • Employment contingent on background check, 4 panel drug test (does not include THC), and MVR clearance.

Responsibilities

  • Work within a retail environment to effectively merchandise products by applying appropriate store and/or corporate standards.
  • Safely and efficiently replenish product.
  • May assemble shelves/racks and display cases following measurement guidelines.
  • Service all stores as scheduled within the allotted hours provided by Supervisor, Merchandising.
  • Seek prior approval from Supervisor before working outside of scheduled hours.
  • Contact Supervisor before working more than 10 hours in a workday or overtime.
  • Accurately record work hours and other company-related information using designated applications.
  • Discuss duties requested by store personnel not listed herein with Supervisor before performing those duties.
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • Work stores as scheduled.
  • Handle all product correctly, including returns.
  • Follow planograms (POGs), flowcharts, etc.
  • Regular communication with Supervisor.
  • Develop relationships with store personnel.
