Merchandiser – Global Product, Female: Become the Newest Member of Kontoor Brands Supports the development and execution of the Wrangler product offering to meet or exceed corporate financial requirements. Line plan management and consolidation: Gathers regional input, aligns & validates the needs and then consolidates for the global design team line plan and merchant brief pass off. Shape/manage a global process to help reduce development SKU’s Influence allocation & adoption across Regional Teams to drive consolidation across styles, brand assets and other key decisions GTM & Line Management: Provides and/or gathers the inputs and outputs that support the GTM calendar at each milestone meeting including preline and salesman sample requests. Gains a strong understanding of the consumer & market needs. Tracks cost targets and margin expectations to drive profitability Coordinates global brand needs with the male merchants to deliver a thoughtful brand brief each season. Pro-active communication on assortment and product changes. Coordinate effectively between Design, PD, and Brand partners. Ensure Operations & Sourcing Team is kept informed of all line decisions relevant to the product offer and work together on achieving financial and inventory objectives Update NOS catalog each season with drops/additions and seasonal offerings

Requirements

  • College Graduate
  • 5+ years Merchandising experience
  • 1-2 years Operational Strategy experience
  • 3 years Cross-functional Coordination experience
  • 2 years’ experience with complex problem solving

Responsibilities

  • Manage global process to help gain alignment across regions.
