About The Position

The Grader examines and grades donated goods for sale in Goodwill of North Georgia stores and online. The position supports daily production goals by processing goods, working across multiple areas, and helping ensure donated items can generate job training opportunities for people facing barriers to employment. The role also involves maintaining an organized work area, following safety and security practices, completing required training, and contributing to a positive guest experience and cooperative team culture.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED preferred.
Consistently foster a healthy team culture focused on exceptional guest experience.
Good oral and written communication skills in English and interpersonal skills.
Detail-oriented, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Strong organizational skills and sound judgment.
Must be 18 years or older to become certified and licensed to operate a forklift. Individuals aged 16 to 17 may not operate forklifts, balers, or compactors.

Responsibilities

Thoroughly examine and grade donated goods.
Effectively process goods to meet daily production goals.
Move between multiple work areas to support daily production goals.
Identify and quickly solve problems or seek management support.
Communicate effectively with management and other team members.
Promote and demonstrate cooperation and teamwork with peers.
Perform work tasks according to training playbooks, e-learning, and work instructions.
Maintain a neat, clean, and organized work area.
Follow safety and security practices, including reporting hazards and injuries to management.
Attend and complete required trainings and meetings.
Perform other duties as assigned.
