About The Position

As a Merchandise Team Member, you will work in one of the 60 plus unique shops that call Silver Dollar City home. You will provide friendly, outgoing service to our guests and keep the shop clean and stocked properly. This position involves selling a variety of merchandise, from souvenirs to food items and custom-made furniture. This position starts now and ends 01/08/2027. Must be at least 16 years of age.

Requirements

• Must be at least 16 years of age.
• Ability to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
• Knowledge, skill, and/or ability required for the role.

Nice To Haves

• One to three months related experience and/or training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Wears Personal Protective Equipment as deemed necessary.
• Is consistently at work and on time.
• Assists guests by answering questions, providing product information, and other related services.
• Stocks shelves, counters, and/or tables with merchandise.
• Operates Point of Sale register following cash handling and credit card procedures.
• Ensure proper handling of customer credit card information in compliance with Property Procedures and Purchasing Card Industry (PCI) standards.
• Picks up, removes and records amount of money in register at beginning and end of shift.
• Wraps and/or bags merchandise for customers.
• Cleans shelves, counters, or tables.
