About The Position

Sorts, prices, and prepares donated items for placement in the store. Inspects donated items for overall quality and determines disposition of items based on store manager's direction. Places items in appropriate locations for pricing and/or distribution. Prepares household items for the store according to the store quality and pricing standards. Uses pricing machine, adhesive price tags and tagging gun to price items in accordance with store standards and Store Manager's direction. Meets or exceeds goals and standards of production and quality. Accomplishes assigned cleaning routine. Assists in the training of workers and consumers in cooperation with the Workforce Development Department staff.

Requirements

  • Able to stand for two hours at a time over a period spanning up to eight hours.
  • Must be able to work evenings and weekends.

Nice To Haves

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Experience in sales is preferred.

  • Ensure documentation and compliance with CARF standards.
  • Maintain applicable safety standards, rules, and regulations in areas of responsibility.
  • Uses strategic objectives to drive performance and improve Goodwill's value to the community.
  • Work with integrity and provide exemplary customer services to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Have key metrics that drive performance taking a leadership role in maximizing the social and financial return of the community resources invested in Goodwill.
