About The Position

The Merchandise Processor assists the Store Management Team with support in overall operations, excellent customer service and sales floor, and sales floor functions. This role involves attaching price tags to clothing and other items to meet production and sales goals, tracking production, and reporting to a supervisor daily. The position requires knowledge of daily, weekly, and monthly processing goals, and adherence to all Picture Process Maps (PPM’s), production metrics, and pricing guidelines. The Merchandise Processor is also responsible for collecting found money and donated jewelry, ensuring the store and surrounding premises are kept clean and safe, and ensuring customer service is provided in a timely and courteous manner. This role must meet all qualitative and quantitative performance standards as established by Goodwill and complete other assignments or projects designated by the Store Management Team.

Nice To Haves

  • High school/ GED completion preferred.
  • Bilingual (English and Spanish) a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Attaches price tags to clothing, wares, and cleaning wares to meet preset production and sales goals for the store.
  • Assists while demonstrating flexibility in overall daily operations within the store.
  • Tracks production and reports to supervisor daily.
  • Possesses knowledge of daily, weekly, and monthly processing goals.
  • Follows all Picture Process Maps (PPM’s), production metrics and pricing guidelines.
  • Collects all found money and donated jewelry and hands it in daily to the manager.
  • Processes necessary paperwork and subsequent functions.
  • Ensures store and surrounding premises are kept clean and free of safety hazards, and safety procedures are understood and followed by all team members.
  • Ensures customer service is presented and provided by team members in a timely and courteous manner to all customers, donors, and other team members.
  • Meets all qualitative and quantitative performance standards as established by Goodwill.
  • Completes other assignments or projects designated by Store Management Team.
  • Assists in any other projects or tasks as determined by management.
