About The Position

This position involves receiving vendor goods and supplies, distributing them as needed, and providing support to the purchasing manager, inventory manager, and other APCO employees in procurement and facilities maintenance. The role is crucial for maintaining satisfactory inventory levels and ensuring smooth operations related to goods movement and basic facility upkeep.

Requirements

Great interpersonal skills
Great written and verbal communication skills
Valid Georgia Driver's license
Excellent math and measuring skills
Good organizational skills
Detail oriented
Good knowledge of mechanics
Prior Forklift experience
Ability to work in a non-temperature-controlled environment at times
Ability to stand, sit, carry, reach, load, unload trucks
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. with assistance
Clean MVR (7 year)
Comply with legal guide regarding background and drug testing

Responsibilities

Pull stock as needed and maintain satisfactory inventory levels
Receive vendor goods/unload trucks
Deliver vendor goods to specific departments and/or stocking area
Make "runs" to warehouse for parts
Pull and load parts per requisition
Drive company forklift as needed
Drive company vehicle as needed
Fill "Sign Word" orders and record, thereby maintaining inventory
Perform light maintenance as needed (facilities maintenance): replace ceiling tiles, replace light bulbs and furniture arrangement
Perform other such duties as may be required to meet objective
