What This Position is All About-Supervisor Under the leadership of the Assistant General Manager of Operations, the Merchandise Operations Team Supervisor is responsible for leading, training, and supervising the daily operations of merchandise including processing, placement, maintenance, fulfillment and store support.

  • Ability to lift cartons (up to 50lbs), climb ladders, and handle racks and carts of merchandise
  • Other store initiatives as assigned by management

Responsibilities

  • Supervise the merchandise team and assist with coaching, training, scheduling and problem solving
  • Oversee MOA team maintaining daily functions included but not limited to processing inbound merchandise to DTF standard, merchandise placement on selling floor, transfers, RTVs, price changes, and event set up
  • Provide leadership in maintaining standards in placement and presentation
  • Lead through results, assist in driving profitability through execution of MOA KPIs
  • Ensure back of house is properly organized to support selling
  • Participate when needed in other store initiatives as required, including but not limited to fill in of merchandise on the selling floor, floor recovery, and supply replenishment
  • Assist in providing oversight of fulfillment by locating requested merchandise, maintaining dashboard and complete orders placed by omni customer
  • Oversee inventory accuracy by regular review of inventory exception reports
  • Proactively partner with AGMO and corporate team on weekly/monthly workload
  • Assist in implementation of policies and best practices, making recommendations when needed
