About The Position

The Merchandise Manager drives merchandising and operational execution, including truck processing, inventory routines, planogram sets, and visual standards. The role ensures accurate pricing, timely promotional execution, and a customer-ready store environment through strong workload planning and inventory management. The Merchandise Manager assists the Store Manager with SOP and company-program compliance, provides Manager-on-Duty coverage, leads truck execution, and plans and prioritizes daily workloads. The role oversees inventory routines, planogram and visual merchandising execution, promotional sets, price changes, Ship from Store fulfillment, RTVs, ASN receiving, and damages procedures. It also supports store conditions, asset protection, and team member training and development. The position is based in the FT LAUD-POMPANO BEACH, Florida store. Work hours include nights, weekends, and early mornings.

Requirements

At least 3 years of retail leadership experience.
Ability to remain standing for long periods and move throughout the store.
Ability to bend, lift, carry, reach, and stretch regularly.
Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull merchandise and fixtures weighing up to 25–50 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation.
Ability to climb ladders or step stools to stock and retrieve products.
Ability to perform repetitive motions, including scanning items, stocking shelves, and operating POS equipment.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with frequent customer interactions.
Availability to work nights, weekends, and early mornings.

Responsibilities

Assist the Store Manager in leading adherence to Standard Operating Procedures and Company programs, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and requirements.
Ensure execution of Company policies and standards, holding the team accountable for store conditions and results.
Provide Manager-on-Duty coverage, maintaining floor leadership, service standards, and operational continuity.
Lead truck execution, including timely unloading, accurate sorting, and efficient merchandise flow to the sales floor.
Plan workloads and prioritize daily tasks in partnership with store leadership, aligning staffing and execution to business needs.
Execute and maintain SISO routines to support in-stock levels, replenishment accuracy, and sales readiness.
Oversee Planogram execution, ensuring merchandising sets are completed accurately and on schedule.
Establish and maintain visual merchandising standards, including initial product placement and presentation.
Support a clean, organized, customer-ready store, including backroom organization and sales floor recovery.
Manage inventory control to ensure product accuracy, integrity, and efficient stock movement.
Execute ad sets, ensuring promotional signage and product placement are compliant and customer focused.
Complete price changes accurately and on time, maintaining pricing integrity across the sales floor and systems.
Oversee Ship from Store fulfillment to ensure orders are picked, packed, and shipped efficiently and accurately.
Process RTVs and ASN receiving, ensuring compliance, accurate documentation, and proper inventory adjustments.
Manage store damages procedures, including proper handling, reporting, and shrink reduction.
Train, coach, and develop team members through structured onboarding and ongoing skill-building across assigned departments.
Partner in maintaining strong Asset Protection practices, reducing shrink through awareness, compliance, and safe operations.
Perform other duties as assigned.
