About The Position

The Idaho Youth Ranch is one of the oldest non-profit agencies in the state of Idaho. Our mission: We unite for Idaho’s youth by providing accessible programs and services that nurture hope, healing, and resilience. Every position at Idaho Youth Ranch contributes to the success of our mission. As a Merchandise Inventory Specialist, you will be responsible for fulfilling weekly store orders, and assisting in purchased product split outs, quarterly inventories, and transfers to our retail stores. You can proudly tell your family and friends that you help nurture hope, healing, and resilience in Idaho’s youth by filling purchased product orders and shipping to our stores for sale; the profits of which go to fund our Programs and Services and make them accessible to all youth who need those services in Idaho.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age
• Basic math, reading, and writing skills
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
• Basic computer skills including use of Microsoft Word and Excel
• Must be able to lift 40lbs regularly, and safely

Responsibilities

• Fulfilling weekly store orders
• Assisting in purchased product split outs
• Assisting in quarterly inventories
• Assisting in transfers to our retail stores
• Fills weekly purchased product orders accurately and on time
• Keeps purchased product organized
• Maintains accurate inventory
• Assists in quarterly inventories
• Works with minimal supervision
