TJX Companies is seeking a Merchandise Controller to act as a liaison and problem solver between Distribution Center (DC) Operations and Corporate Merchandising Departments. This role involves communicating product information to internal DC Merchandise Control Management and Corporate Home Office Management Associates. The Merchandise Controller will oversee the production of priority merchandise with specific store delivery timelines, ensuring timely and accurate product distribution. Responsibilities include monitoring and auditing the internal computer system (SCAN) for accurate product logging, sending samples and pictures to Corporate planning teams, managing the merchandise return to vendor process, and maintaining necessary files for the Merchandising Department. Special projects may also be assigned. The position requires comfort working any shift schedule the DC operates.
