Black Desert Resort in Ivins, UT is pleased to announce an excellent career opportunity for a part-time Golf Shop Attendant! We are seeking a driven individual who is eager to learn, contribute, and grow within a fast-paced hospitality-focused property organization. As part of Troon, you’ll contribute to a global leader in golf and community management. Job Summary Assists with retail sales, merchandising and provides exceptional customer service to guests.

Requirements

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Ability to read and speak English may be required in order to perform the duties of the job (e.g. the associates may be required to communicate with English speaking customers or co-workers, the manuals for the equipment the associates may use are in English).

Nice To Haves

Previous experience with Point of Sale (POS) systems.

Responsibilities

Acknowledges guests upon entrance into retail facility.
Assists the guest by selling merchandise and providing information in a professional manner.
Assists guests by preparing any special orders requested.
Processes and records sales transactions. Maintains accountabilities for all sales and money transactions made.
Tags and prices items.
Assists with the receiving and shipping.
Assists with rotating stock, keeping displays clean and orderly and creating appealing displays.
Ensures clothing and gift items are in the proper locations.
Assists with general cleaning of the shop.
Assists with monthly/quarterly physical inventories.
Incorporates safe work practices in job performance.
Regular and reliable attendance.
Performs other duties as required.
