About The Position

TJ Maxx is hiring Part Time Merchandise Associates for the summer. This role is responsible for delivering a highly satisfied customer experience by engaging with customers, embodying customer experience principles, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment. Associates adhere to all operational, merchandise, and loss prevention standards. This position may involve cross-training in multiple store areas to support business needs. The role models customer experience practices, supports a positive store culture through honesty, integrity, and respect, and accurately handles customer transactions. Associates promote credit and loyalty programs, maintain merchandising standards, and process merchandise for the sales floor. They also participate in store recovery, maintain cleanliness and organization of the sales floor and the entire store, and provide/accept feedback. Adherence to labor laws, policies, and procedures, as well as participation in shrink reduction and safety awareness are key components of this role. Other duties may be assigned.

Initiating and participating in store recovery as needed throughout the day.
Maintaining all organizational, cleanliness, and recovery standards for the sales floor and participating in the maintenance/cleanliness of the entire store.
Providing and accepting recognition and constructive feedback.
Adhering to all labor laws, policies, and procedures.
Supporting and participating in store shrink reduction goals and programs.
Participating in safety awareness and maintaining a safe environment.
