About The Position

TJ Maxx is seeking a Part Time Weekend Merchandise Associate. This role is responsible for delivering a highly satisfied customer experience by engaging with customers, embodying customer experience principles, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment. The associate will adhere to all operational, merchandise, and loss prevention standards and may be cross-trained to support various areas of the store. The role models established customer experience practices, supports a positive store culture, and accurately handles customer transactions. The associate will also promote credit and loyalty programs, maintain merchandising standards, process and prepare merchandise, and participate in store recovery and maintenance. Additionally, the associate will provide and accept feedback, adhere to labor laws and policies, and support shrink reduction and safety goals.

Capable of multi-tasking

Retail customer experience preferred

Maintaining all organizational, cleanliness, and recovery standards for the sales floor
Participating in the maintenance/cleanliness of the entire store
Providing and accepting recognition and constructive feedback
Adhering to all labor laws, policies, and procedures
Supporting and participating in store shrink reduction goals and programs
Participating in safety awareness and maintaining a safe environment
Other duties as assigned
