About The Position

The Merchandise Associate is responsible for delivering a highly satisfying customer experience by engaging with customers, following customer experience principles, and maintaining a clean and organized store. The role follows operational, merchandising, and loss prevention standards and may involve cross-training in multiple store areas to support business needs. The position is listed as a 6 AM morning role at Marshalls in Vadnais Heights, Minnesota.

Responsibilities

Model established customer experience practices with internal and external customers.
Support a positive store culture through honesty, integrity, and respect.
Accurately ring customer purchases and returns and provide correct change according to operating procedures.
Promote credit and loyalty programs.
Follow merchandising philosophy, procedures, and standards.
Process and prepare merchandise for the sales floor according to company procedures and standards.
Initiiate and participate in store recovery throughout the day as needed.
Maintain organizational, cleanliness, and recovery standards on the sales floor and help maintain the cleanliness of the entire store.
Give and accept recognition and constructive feedback.
Follow labor laws, policies, and procedures.
Support and participate in shrink reduction goals and programs.
Participate in safety awareness and help maintain a safe environment.
Perform other duties as assigned.
