About The Position

Sierra at TJX Companies is looking for a Part Time Merchandise Associate. This role is responsible for delivering a highly satisfied customer experience by engaging with customers, embodying customer experience principles, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment. The associate will adhere to all operational, merchandise, and loss prevention standards and may be cross-trained to support business needs in multiple areas of the store. The role models customer experience practices, supports a positive store culture, accurately handles transactions, promotes loyalty programs, and maintains merchandising standards. The associate will process and prepare merchandise for the sales floor, participate in store recovery, and maintain organizational and cleanliness standards for the entire store. They will also provide and accept feedback, adhere to labor laws and policies, and support shrink reduction and safety awareness goals. Other duties may be assigned.

Requirements

Possesses excellent customer service skills
Able to work a flexible schedule to support business needs
Possesses strong communication and organizational skills with attention to detail
Capable of multi-tasking
Able to respond appropriately to changes in direction or unexpected situations
Capable of lifting heavy objects with or without reasonable accommodation
Works effectively with peers and supervisors
Retail customer experience preferred

Participating in the maintenance/cleanliness of the entire store

Supporting and participating in store shrink reduction goals and programs
Participating in safety awareness and maintaining a safe environment
