Requirements

  • Experience with warranty and non-warranty inspections, diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on various vehicle makes and models
  • Proven ability to meet or exceed performance goals
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Professional appearance and strong work ethic
  • Positive attitude and high energy
  • Ability to read and comprehend technical instructions
  • Good judgment and problem-solving abilities
  • Valid state driver's license with a clean driving record
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • ASE certification or equivalent technical aptitude required

  • Technical or trade school degree preferred

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot customer concerns accurately using current technical and administrative tools
  • Demonstrate common courtesy to all customers you interact with
  • Assist as a secondary customer greeter in the Service Drive area
  • Stay updated with technical publications, Service Comm, and Asist terminal operations
  • Deliver safe and reliable vehicle service on the first attempt
  • Address all customer concerns before suggesting additional repairs or sales
  • Inspect vehicles to identify maintenance needs based on local and factory recommendations
  • Ensure customers receive their vehicles in a clean or cleaner condition than when brought in
  • Participate in factory or in-house training programs
  • Complete all paperwork thoroughly and attach necessary shop forms to repair orders
  • Perform additional duties assigned by the Service Manager, ASM, or Group Leader
  • Arrive on time, ready to work, and dressed in a clean uniform
