About The Position

The MEP VDC / Revit Specialist will be responsible for developing detailed construction documents and 3D models in Revit, focusing on Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems. This role involves leading BIM coordination efforts, performing clash detection, and providing technical support throughout the construction and manufacturing phases. The specialist will also communicate effectively with clients and internal stakeholders.

Requirements

• Advanced proficiency in Revit (required)
• Experience with AutoCAD, BIM workflows (ACC/BIM 360), Navisworks, and Bluebeam
• Strong knowledge of MEP systems, building codes, and engineering principles
• Ability to read, interpret, and produce complex technical drawings
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills

Nice To Haves

• Associate degree or certification in drafting, engineering technology, or a related field preferred
• Prior experience in an architectural or engineering environment preferred

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed construction documents and 3D models in Revit, focused on Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems
• Lead BIM coordination efforts with architects, engineers, and project managers
• Perform clash detection and resolve conflicts using Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) and Navisworks
• Establish and maintain drafting standards and documentation protocols
• Conduct site visits to verify existing conditions and ensure design accuracy
• Provide technical support throughout construction and manufacturing phases
• Communicate effectively with clients and internal stakeholders across all project stages
