About The Position

A growing general contractor is seeking an experienced MEP Superintendent to support a commercial/mixed-use project in Aventura. This role requires a technically strong field leader capable of coordinating complex building systems across multiple occupancy types, including office, retail, and parking structures. This project involves a broader and more complex systems scope than typical multifamily builds, requiring a versatile MEP leader who can proactively manage coordination and prevent bottlenecks.

Requirements

• Proven MEP coordination experience on vertical commercial or mixed-use projects
• Strong working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, fire protection, and low-voltage systems
• Experience with system startup, testing, commissioning, and project closeout
• Ability to coordinate across structure, interiors, and turnover phases
• Strong communication skills with PMs, consultants, inspectors, and trades

Nice To Haves

• Experience with tools such as Procore and Bluebeam preferred
• Florida experience and bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus

Responsibilities

• Lead field coordination of all MEP systems from rough-in through startup, testing, and final acceptance
• Coordinate closely with MEP trades, structural and architectural teams to minimize clashes and rework
• Manage inspections, code compliance, life-safety systems, and closeout documentation
• Identify and mitigate procurement risks, schedule impacts, and predecessor gaps
• Enforce subcontractor accountability for manpower, quality, and milestone commitments
