About The Position

The MEP Project Manager will oversee the planning, coordination, execution, and delivery of all mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) systems throughout the construction and commissioning of mission-critical data center projects. This individual will work closely with project teams, contractors, consultants, and commissioning personnel to ensure MEP systems are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and in accordance with the team's quality and operational standards.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience managing MEP systems on commercial, industrial, or mission-critical construction projects.
  • 2+ years of experience working on Data Center construction projects.
  • Strong understanding of mission-critical/data center infrastructure, including mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and low-voltage systems.
  • Experience supporting commissioning, startup, and integrated systems testing (IST).
  • Working knowledge of Methods of Procedure (MOPs) and change management processes within live critical environments.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple stakeholders, contractors, and project priorities in a fast-paced data center environment.
  • Possess and maintain a valid driver’s license appropriate for the role and be eligible to operate a motor vehicle in accordance with applicable laws.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively in a professional work environment, including preparing written reports and documentation, conveying information clearly to team members, clients, and stakeholders, and responding appropriately to verbal and written communications related to job duties.

Responsibilities

  • Manage all mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and low-voltage scopes from construction through commissioning and project turnover.
  • Coordinate with contractors, consultants, and internal stakeholders to ensure successful execution of MEP systems while maintaining project schedule, budget, quality, and safety objectives.
  • Support commissioning activities, including startup, functional testing, integrated systems testing (IST), and turnover to operations.
  • Review, develop, and execute Method of Procedure (MOP) documentation to ensure critical work is performed safely and without disruption to mission-critical operations.
  • Monitor project progress, resolve technical issues, and provide regular updates to project leadership while ensuring compliance with the team standards and industry best practices.
