About The Position

The Orlando office is seeking a Plumbing Designer with at least 3 years of experience in Plumbing/Fire Protection. The position uses computer drafting techniques to produce plans, construction drawings, and details for a variety of project types. It includes designing plumbing systems and associated details, performing system calculations and equipment selections, laying out plumbing systems, and preparing studies and reports when needed.

Requirements

• High school diploma or better.
• At least 3 years of relevant Plumbing/Fire Protection experience.
• Working knowledge of and experience with Revit.
• Detail-oriented, professional attitude, good communication, team player, and self-starter.
• Ability to work independently and with a team.
• Ability to work on multiple projects at the same time and manage workflow.

Responsibilities

• Use computer drafting techniques to generate plans, construction drawings, and other details for a variety of project types.
• Design plumbing systems, including associated details, risers, isometrics, and specifications.
• Perform system design calculations and equipment selections.
• Lay out plumbing systems, including sanitary, grease, domestic water, and fire sprinklers.
• Write studies and reports for plumbing systems when needed on projects.
