Bay Cove Human Services’ mission is to partner with people to overcome challenges and realize personal potential. Bay Cove pursues this mission by providing individualized and compassionate services to people facing the challenges associated with developmental disabilities, mental illness, substance use disorders, and homelessness at more than 175 program sites throughout Greater Boston and Southeastern Massachusetts. The CCS Mental Health Worker (MHW) provides direct services to adults in crisis at the CCS. The Mental Health Worker will carry a case load based on daily census and will provide direct care supports including admission, treatment planning, running groups, case management, and discharge. The Mental Health Worker ensures safety of all clients through provision of as needed 1:1 supervision, conducting and documenting checks, proactively addressing escalating behaviors. The MHW also provides for operation of the CCS in terms of meal set-up and clean-up; room maintenance; keeping the unit clean; and doing laundry. This is a non-exempt position. The Mental Health Worker supports coordination with the Cape Cod Community Behavioral Health Center (CBHC), helping clients understand available services and supporting warm handoffs and follow-up after crisis stabilization.
