Mental Health Worker - Outpatient Clinic

About The Position
The Mental Health Worker in the Outpatient Clinic performs and documents routine nursing care for behavioral health patients. The role assesses and interprets information about patients’ status to identify their needs and provide appropriate care, including age-related care for the patient group.
Requirements
- Mental Health Worker Certification or equivalent experience.
- Management of Assaultive Behavior certification.
- Six months of experience in a psychiatric care setting.
- Valid BLS certification.
Responsibilities
- Report observations of physical signs and changes in patient status to a licensed nurse.
- Provide input to the patient’s plan of care.
- Provide a safe and comfortable environment that meets patients’ immediate needs, including maintaining patient cleanliness and comfort and a neat environment.
- Provide one-to-one monitoring for high-risk patients.
