The Dr. Solomon Carter Fuller Mental Health Center, operated by the Department of Mental Health (DMH), is seeking a compassionate and talented Mental Health Worker to join a dynamic team. This role provides direct care services to clients, assists in implementing rehabilitative behavior and recreational programs, performs client-related housekeeping duties, attends client review meetings, accompanies clients to appointments, and provides leisure activities. The incumbent will serve as a role model for Mental Health Worker I (MHW I). This position is 40 hours per week, 3rd shift (11pm-7:00am) on 5 east, with days off on Monday and Saturday in week A, and Sunday and Wednesday in week B. Employees in this position will be required to perform mandatory overtime. The facility is a 60-bed inpatient psychiatric facility providing comprehensive and timely forensic evaluations to determine pre-trial competency and/or criminal responsibility, as well as quality, integrated care to support an individual’s recovery process through ongoing psychiatric treatment and care.
