About The Position
The Adult Co-Occurring Disorders Unit is a 22-bed unit offering rapid evaluation with medical and psychiatric intervention. A track for adults with concurrent chemical dependency provides brief crisis intervention with a physician until the patient can be transferred to a lower level of care.
Requirements
- HS Diploma/GED
- Must be available to work every other weekend (Saturday & Sunday)
- Must be available to work days/eves/weekends
Nice To Haves
- Human Services related degree
- Past direct care or related experience
Responsibilities
- Provide direct care and support to adults with co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders.
- Assist with medical and psychiatric interventions.
- Conduct brief crisis intervention.
- Participate in patient transfers to lower levels of care.
- Complete extended clinical orientation/training.
